CanAmerican Flute Symposium and
Young Artist Competition

August 5 – 8, 2021

The CanAmerican Flute Symposium was established to unify and inspire flute communities across Canada and America.

Susan Hoeppner and Jeffery ZookGuest Artists

This symposium, running August 5-8, 2021, will include masterclass opportunities with Susan Hoeppner and Jeffery Zook, a series of workshops from Haynes University, daily warm-up sessions, artist recitals, and a final performance in the CanAmerican Virtual Recital Hall. Performer spots will be limited to 10.

Apply in advance by July 5, 2021 to be considered as a performer for the symposium. Scholarships are available.

The CanAmerican Flute Symposium Young Artist Competition is open to all ages and ability levels. Sponsored by Wm. S. Haynes Co., Flute Specialists Inc., and Long & McQuade Musical Instruments, first prize is awarded a Handmade Silver Haynes Headjoint. Cash prizes are also available.
